Rental terms, made clear
The things worth knowing before you reserve a West Palm Beach airport vehicle, laid out plainly so there are no surprises on your travel day.

Reservation review

Payment and deposit
The primary driver must present an accepted payment card in their own name with enough available funds for the rental, optional products, local charges, and the security deposit hold ($200, or $2,000 for Florida residents).
Travel and tolls
Vehicles may not leave Florida. Personal toll devices are not allowed; toll service must be selected or penalties may apply.
PBI shuttle
Confirmed customers use Ground Transportation shuttle service at Palm Beach International Airport for counter verification and vehicle pickup.

1. Booking requirements
- Renters must be 21+ and present a valid driver's license and accepted payment card in the primary driver's name.
- Additional drivers must be at least 25 years old, present a valid driver's license at rental, and pay a $5/day additional-driver fee.
- Accepted payment cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club. The cardholder must match the primary renter.
- A $200 security deposit will be held on the driver's credit card. Florida residents: $2,000 security deposit hold.
- Insurance is subject to approval. Bring your insurance card (or the digital version) and submit it through the check-in app or at the counter; verification can take up to two business days. Coverage must be full coverage that transfers to the rental vehicle. If the insurance does not meet the requirements, an insurance assurance fee applies (see rental agreement).
- Third-party broker insurance may require the renter to pay upfront after an accident and seek reimbursement from the broker.
- 12-passenger van renters using personal insurance must show at least $1,000,000 combined liability coverage or equivalent acceptable coverage.
- Florida residents are limited to 50 miles per day, with extra miles charged at $0.50 per mile.
- Vehicles may not leave the state of Florida.
- PBI customers receive pickup and verification instructions after reservation confirmation.
- The vehicle is held for 2 hours after the booked pickup time, subject to availability and booking-source rules.
- A 29-minute return grace period applies before late return fees or an additional rental day may apply.
- After-hours service is by request only and may require a $150 after-hours return fee plus taxes.
- Personal toll devices are not allowed. Tolls are pay-as-you-go with the vehicle's toll device — at return you pay the tolls used plus a toll administration fee (see rental agreement) — or choose the unlimited toll plan at $19.99/day and use as many tolls as you want.
- Cleaning, smoking/vaping, animal transport, late return, unauthorized-use, lost key, fuel, damage, and claims fees may apply.
- Free cancellation is available up to 6 hours before pickup. No-shows, insufficient documentation, invalid cards, or insufficient funds may be treated as no-shows.
2. Taxes & required fees
Taxes & Required Fees may include applicable sales tax, airport/concession recovery, vehicle licensing recovery, transaction processing, and operational recovery fees.
3. Tolls
Personal toll devices are not allowed. Tolls are pay-as-you-go with the vehicle's toll device: drive through any toll you need and, at vehicle return, pay the tolls used plus a toll administration fee (see rental agreement). Or choose the unlimited toll plan for $19.99/day and use as many tolls as you want. Removing or tampering with the toll device carries a penalty (see rental agreement).
4. Travel
Vehicles may not leave the state of Florida. Ferry use, cross-border travel, delivery work, rideshare work, commercial passenger transport, off-road use, racing, towing, and illegal use are prohibited. Unauthorized out-of-state travel may result in a $2,000 unauthorized-use fee, recovery costs, towing, repossession expenses, loss of optional protection benefits, and related damages or losses.
5. Payment card
Accepted payment cards are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club. The cardholder name must match the primary renter, and the card must have enough available funds for the rental, the security deposit hold ($200, or $2,000 for Florida residents), optional products, and local charges. Card rules may vary by booking source and renter profile.

8. Acknowledgments
- I understand Taxes & Required Fees are $30/day and are disclosed separately from the base rental rate.
- I understand personal toll devices are not allowed; tolls are pay-as-you-go (tolls used plus an administration fee at return, per the rental agreement) or the unlimited toll plan at $19.99/day.
- I understand cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is not returned ready for normal rental use.
- I understand smoking/vaping, odor, or animal transport may result in a penalty up to $500 plus tax.
- I understand travel is limited to Florida unless approved in writing, and unauthorized out-of-state travel may result in a $2,000 unauthorized-use fee plus related costs.
- I understand the payment card must be accepted, in the primary driver's name, and have enough available funds for rental charges and the security deposit hold ($200, or $2,000 for Florida residents).
- I understand insurance must show full coverage that transfers to the rental, that Only Rent verifies coverage (up to two business days), and that coverage not meeting the requirements results in an insurance assurance fee as set out in the rental agreement.
- I understand Florida residents are limited to 50 miles per day, with extra miles billed at $0.50 per mile.
- I understand regular hours are 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and approved after-hours returns may require a $150 after-hours fee plus taxes.
- I understand fuel refill, late return, lost key, missing equipment, tickets, tolls, damages, and claim administration charges may be billed separately.
- I understand cancellations must follow the booking-source policy, and no-show, late arrival, insufficient documents, invalid card, or insufficient funds may result in charges.
- I understand PBI shuttle, counter, and pickup instructions are provided after reservation confirmation and check-in review.
9. Controlling agreement
This check-in confirms the terms above and authorizes Only Rent to verify your documents and insurance. The rental agreement you sign at the counter (operated through the Priceless / Rent-A-Wreck reservation brands) is the controlling, executed contract for your rental; this check-in establishes your consent to these terms and speeds up your pickup. Pricing and coverage are subject to insurance verification — if your insurance does not meet the requirements, a coverage assurance fee or an Only Rent protection product applies, as set out above.
